Right now i think the one match everbody wants to see is anderson silva vs st pierre. I think that would be a purley amazing fight. Now most people wouldnt take sides but im gonna say silva. In silvas last fight he demonstrated that his takedown defense has improved. not to say that demian maia is as good as st pierre at taking people down. Even if st pierre can take silva to the mat, silva can still submit him. he choked out dan henderson who is an extremely good wrestler. Every fight starts standing up so that an advantage for silva. It may onley take seconds for silva to pick the right time to engage st pierre. And after dana whites thoughts on silvas last fight silva would be on top game. it seems when silva moves up weight classes(moves out of his usual weight class) he does better. I think he may have a higher guard since hes not used to that weight class. In this fight im almost sure that st pierre would successfully take anderson down. But hess going to have to keep him down and not get submitted for 25 minutes. Now in 25 minutes i see anderson getting up (at least once) and taking out st pierre. St pierre does not have a good chin! We saw when he fought matt serra that when he gets hit he does not do good. And silva can deliver one hell of a hit. Silva is probably 10 times more precise than serra. I see this one ening in the 3 round with anderson silva tko.

Chael Sonnen Knows How To Hype A Fight
After andersons contrevesial win over demian maia everybodys heads were in the place of, whos next? joe rogan announced that if silva won the fight he would be moving down and fighting st pierre. That would have been the all time biggest mma fight ever, but... it seems dana hes making him defend white was so upset with silvas inibility to finish the fight that hes making him defend the belt yet again. Theres really not ch to prove for silva. we know hes the best there, but now the only thing he can prove is that he can finish fights. Announced not even a week after 112. Chael sonnen will be getting a title shot. Who isnt even as good as maia! bullshit is what it is. But man is chael making this exciting. heres some quotes from chael on his gameplan and thoughts on silva: "I have a moral obligation to society to beat [Silva] up,"
"That is true [of the Silva fight happening], on one condition, that is, if diplomacy fails," Sonnen said. "I am giving Anderson Silva the fair chance to back out and back out now. But as sure as night follows day if he does not heed my warning I will declare war and on Aug. 7 at 7PM his 15 minutes of fame will come to an abrupt halt."
"James Toney I think without question is the best striker we got in this company. I think James Toney can outstrike anybody including Anderson Silva and I think everyone here would probably agree with me. Though everybody's dismissing James Toney, but they're accepting Anderson's skills. I dismiss both of those bums. That's what I think about them. I dismiss them both." These were some of the things that sonnen said at wec aldo vs faber. It seems this man likes the comedy spot light.

Huge Card Next Sunday
Man am i pumped for next weekends "ufc live on versus 1" The great thing about this is that its got some incredible fights and its free. I might seem additionaly pumped for the fact that two of my favorite fighters are competing that night: Junior dos santos and jon jones. The santos vs gonzaga fight should definitely be a knock out kinda fight. Both these guys have got the power to finish it in the first round. And on to the jones vs vera fight which is headlining at the event. Jon jones treamendous ability to throw wild things and land them should be a defining factor in that fight and i see that giving him the win. Another ufc event making history here. This is the first ever live ufc event on versus. Which versus is just like spike for people who have direct tv. Also cheik kongo is returning to the octogan after his devistating loss to frank mir. It also seems that the prelims pack a powerfull punch too. Weve got brendan shaubs returning after his loss to tuf 10 winner roy nelson. I really see shaub beating the hell outta all these shitty fighters there going to put him up against due to his loss over nelson. And weve got clay guida takin on some lesser competion after his loss to kenny florian. It seems that after talking about this fight card its a redemption to everyone who is fighting because pretty much everyone i coming off loses except of dos santos. Wherever these fights go these competitors are going to be sent into top contention after these fights and i sure cant wait to see how so of these guys fare up against other top competition.

Paulo Thiago. Underated?
I really think paulo thiago has the skills to go up against st pierre. I really dont think hardy deserves a shot at st pierre. Hardy could not finish swick and paulo rocked swick then slapped a darce on him showing his patience and skills. It shows the thiago has subbmissions which is one of few ways you can fight st pierre. Thiago is better than st pierre on the stand up but what he lacks is what st pierre has. We never really see thiagos ground game much but he has subbmission skills because its not so easy to pull a darce off that good. He improves into a different fighter everytime he fights, i like the way he paws and slips punches but has the power to knock you out. Thiagos boxing is top notch. hes got good head movement and hes a thinker more than just a thrower. His counter striking never ceases to amaze which is usally getting him the win. But am i pouring on to much sugar on it? I dont know how bias i am on this subject but thiagos not really that big of a deal... yet. I know thiagos going to go far i just dont know how far and if hes going to train as hard as he can. Hes definatly not a slacker. Hes on the side of the fighters that are always training non stop. He trains with the best which always pays off in the end. I dont think thiago gets as much credit as he deserves especialy after his one loss. If this guy can train as much as possible and push himself to the edge than i think theres nothing stopping him from becoming the welterweight champion.
Boxing And UFC
Its been going around that alot of boxers want to get in ufc and a good example of someone trying to get in is boxer james toney. toney is looking to move over to ufc but dana white seems to want to hold these boxers back. i really dont see a problem in this, i even think it would evolve mma boxing. if the concern is that boxers wont be good on the ground, then let them have a fight and learn. theres no reason to shatter a persons dream to get in the ufc. theres no doubt that toney has some pretty sick boing skills and i think it would be great so see someone like toney or other boxers fare against someof ufc's best. Theres also rumors going around that manny "pack-man" pacquiao wants to get into mma-ufc. How awesome would it be to see pack man in the ufc? Hes built like an athlete, which they usally do extremely good. Obviously these boxers are getting tired of boxing or the other boxers are just not enough for them that they need to take on a challenge. This could be a great leap for mma. As i was saying this could be evolution for mma, a step up in the striking game. Theres also many other boxers trying to get in mma and ufc but dana white is declining all these boxers. if he feels there going to emmbarrass him then he shouldnt have let holles gracie in the ufc. If these boxers want to get serious and start doing mma then they need to train there asses off... hey it wouldnt be suprising. pro wrestlers can do it. why can they?
Variety In The UFC
I always love to see tons of variety in the ufc. It seems the more variety the better. When you have two completly different fighter it always make a flashy fights. It seems the recent addition of taekwondo(which i would love to see more of) in the ufc has jumped in and proven to be unpredictable. The fighter is brian foster. His last fight was against chris lytle and he unfortunetly lost. But what we did see were some spinning back kicks to the head which were sweet ass! Nobody expects a spinning back kick to the head. I would be truly awesome to see somebody master the art of taekwondo and combine it the right way with other skills in mma to see a pretty crazy fighter. How awesome would it be to see a tornado kick in the ufc? Now as rules go i dont know which kicks are alowwed, but it seems you can do spinnig back kicks to the head so why not other crazy kicks, if mma could evolve and have more fighting styles combined into it, it would be completly different. There are al sorts of styles that havnt been combined with mma yet and it would be intresting to see them in it. I love when someone lands a crazy strike like a spinning back fist or kick, that why jon jone poses a threat in the ufc because of strikes like spinning back elbows and upkicks to the face. This all doesnt apply to just striking either it could go for the ground too. It would make mma twenty steps higher if we could get more variety in it.
Its Time For Some New Blood
Ive got to say the ufc is stacked with the number one fighters in the world with fighters like anderson silva st pierre brock lesnar lyoto machida ect. The ultimate fighter was really needed so we could get new fighters and it worked. Im not trying to say im tired of the fighters currently, its not like im complaining its more of just a lead up to tuf 11. It seems that some of the best fighters come from tuf it it was a really great innovation. last season ultimate fighter saw alot of personalities including kimbo slice. Im not to immpressed with roy nelson, i really think that brendan shaub just got caught of guard and roy got lucky. On to the fact that theres a new ultimate fighter airing in a couple weeks and its on the much needed middle weight division. right now the middle eight division has some pretty good fighters and then one amazing one. Theres really nobody out there who can beat him. As we see in the past the tuf winners usally go on to be succesful and some even get the championship. i would really like to see someone challange anderson silva, i mean the guys the number 1 pound for pound fighter in the world. Hes unnbeatable. It just seems that some divisions are lacking more GREAT fighters, not to say that theres not allot of good ones. The ultimate fighter 11 airs on march 31 wenesday. And i cant wait to see what goes on between the coaches. off of the topic of tuf 11 ide like to rate the divisions on which ones are most stacked and which ones are not. 1=fuggin StAcKeD 5=only a couple.
1= light heavyweight
2= Heavyweight
3= Welterweight
4= Lightweight
5= Middleweight

Its Official: Kimbo VS Mittrione
Its now official. kimbos deal has been sealed with ufc after a controversial option to move over to boxing, but it seems kimbos heart stayed with ufc. Well only a couple things i could say on the good end for mittrione. I watched every episode of tuf 10 and really got into it, and with my previous knowledge of kimbo slice i really hoped he would win it. sad to say fatass roy nelson sat on him the whole time in the crusifix or however you spell it, but nevermind that it seems kimbo has made it into the ufc without winning the show but he definetly earned it with a win over houston alaxander. When i play this fight in my mind i see kimbo kicking the shit outta mittrione, and i think this is one time im not going to throw a "but on the otherhand" because i really dont see the talen in mittrione. You can see the skill mittrione has it just doesnt seem like hes using it the right way or fast enough. It looks like the fighters really branched out after the show with kimbo going to att and really working his ground game and his wrestling. If kimbo cant take the win on the stand-up (which i dont see any reason he cant)Then im sure he will have no problem taking this one to the ground. I see mittriones determination now after the show. it really seems that he found his passion, its just hes still that weird creepy person whos always coming up with excuses, and i would be afraid if i was him that his excuses could reflect his fighting and he just might not be as deticated. Either way this fight should be a great add on to ufc 113.
UFC Primetime Show
The new ufc primetime show just aired and it really impressed me and got me hooked into the upcoming fight between st pierre and hardy. at first i thought hardy would have no chance at st pierre. i still do now but i think hes stepping into this fight a better way than everybody else does. St pierre is now training with renzo gracie witch is a scary thing because renzo is a top level bjj master and has trained the best(he also has an upcoming fight with matt hughes) this way st pirre can deal with high level bjj or use it to his advantage. The only hole i see in st pierre is his striking, which is still very good to begin with. But i think hardys stand up is a little better and hardy doesnt seem to be afraid to get hit. Now on to the show and less about the fight. The show was exeptional and it realy educates people on these upcoming fights and it doesnt fail to entertain those who already have knowledge on the ufc or the upcoming fights. It really took on an exiting role and it was better than i expected. It shows you where the fighters are training how there training and everything else on there schedule, it also takes a deep look into what the fighters are really aboutt and made if. ex. we have cocky hardy whos a no fear brit, and weve got humble no talk st pierre on the other side. anyways the show was a great hit and if you failed to catch the hidden suprise then youll have to watch the re runs. The show airs every wensday at 10 up until the fight.

Jon Jones. Does He Have It?
Now there's been allot of scepticism about Jon Jones last fight against Matt hamill. The fight was truly a great disappointment to everyone. Jon Jones is really a interesting fighter because he has an extremely freakish reach advantage to every one he fights.(think brock lesnar who weighs 265 pounds and is a heavy weight. he has a 81" reach. Now jon jones on the other hand weighs 205 and is in the light heavyweight division and has a 85" reach) This reach advantage really pays off for jones giving him a great opportunity to not get hit. We have also seen his ability to throw the wildest and coolest strikes. He has thrown spinning back fists and elbows. yes a spinning back elbow, and he has great flexibility which allows him to thrown front kicks to the face and various other kicks. But what we really saw in his last fight was his incredible ground game. most ufc fans love to see the type of fighter that jon jones is on the stand up because hes always exiting and he mixes it up, but im sure they dont have a problem with his ground game either. he threw matt hammill to the ground and really did a number on him. i was very amazed with his speed and elbows in mount. He destroyed hammill. The question now is can he beat his next opponents? I dont know if its just me but it seems that jon gets kinda lucky in his fights. Assuming its probably just the hidden power and talent that we dont see on a day to day basis that he has like fellow striker anderson silva. These two remind of each other on the stand up, always mixing things up. Both have the hidden power and talent that you dont see because there fights are usually fast and unpredictable. Your guys thoughts on jonny bones jones?

Does Hardy Even Have A Chance?
Well it's good that I got some readers now. Now honestly does anybody think hardy has a chance against st Pierre? With st Pierres amazing takedowns and his pretty good stand up. I honestlythink there blowing hardy out of praportion. Don't get me wrong hardy has some good stand up but it's probobly not even better than st pierres. I'm not a fan of st Pierre he's probobly one of my least favorite fighters. But man you gotta give that guy some props. He's probobly got the best takedowns in the ufc and arguably mma. I havnt payed much attention to hardy. But I'm gonna shoot this out even though I don't know anything about him but, does this guy even have one ounce of groun skills compared to st Pierre? I see this fight goin to st Pierre with a tko because his last fight with alves was damn good and alves is a beast. I really thought alves was gonna wreck st pierres shit but, st Pierre pretty much took the whole fight. If st Pierre can take alves than he can fuck up hardy really fast. The ufc is really tryin to make hardy to look like a good apossing threat but st Pierre can take a hit and hardy can even hit that hard. I have to say if anyones gonna take on st Pierre than it's gonna be Paulo thiago. Honestly hardy almost had a hard time beating swick and Paulo thiago wrecked mike swicks shit. Slapped a fuckin sweet darce choke on him. It's a pretty stupid match up because st pierres gonna wreck shit. Anybody got other thoughts on this match up?

Brock Forgotten? A New Star Is Born
That stars name is Cain Velasquez. At what point do you classify Cain Velasquez as a star? When he knocks out a legend four minutes into the first round. You often here people say "Nogueira doesn't lose, he just doesn't have enough time to finish" Well ill tell you this. Everyone was proven wrong last night at ufc 110. Rising heavyweight Cain Velasquez fought legend of the sport Antonio Minotauro Nogueira. Aside from the fact Cain knocked him out, Cain really proved that he is the top fighter and hes ready for war. All you have to do is type in ufc and tons of things on Cain Suddenly come up. Theres alot of buzz going around about Cain, And you have to think to yourself: What about Brock? Not even two weeks earlier brock was the main spotlight. "The man" But now it looks like the attention has shifted to Velasquez. After watching the fight last night you kinda think that if anyone is to beat brock its this guy. Brock is a warrior dont get me wrong. but i think with all the time off hes fading away to everybody. If Brock would have just beat someone last night im sure he would be the sensation the next moring, but hes been off for to long. Its about time some new heavyweight contension stepped up. Cain has so much technical skill its unbelievable how he combines that with his speed and stamina. He truly is the perfect fighter. The title shot goes up for grabs at ufc 116, brock lesnars return. Dana white made a statement saying that the tite shot could go to the Velasquez Nogueira fight. I think after Cains win in thaty devastating fashion he deserves it. But, for now we wait for Carwin VS Mir. With all of this hype around Velasquez is Brock truly forgotten?

The Aftermath: UFC 110
Man, was there some good fights on the fight card tonight! I was extremely excited to see wandy vs bisping because i love bad blood and i think it makes an intreresting fight. It was making history and it sure did a good job for being the first ufc event in australia, and australia was PUMPED! The night started off with cro cop vs some dude i dont remember and they both really didnt look to good. i guess cro cop looked okay but he seemed a little exsausted. Then it came time for jardine vs bader. The fight went to the third round and it seemed keith was winning, but bader pulled off a knockout on keiths glass jaw, and really didnt impress anyone. He just got lucky with throwing wild hooks. Then, joe daddy stevenson took on george sotiropoulos, in a fight that was an amazing ground battle. The fight was back and forth, but in the end george took the win with a decision victory. When it came time for wandy vs bisping i was truly excited! The fight went all three round with wandy ultimitaly dominating bisping, and dropping late in the third round, sa to say he didnt have enough time to finish it. Then it cam time for the main event of the evening! cain velasquez vs minotauro nogueira. And damn this fight really proved alot to everybody. Cain went into the fight guns a blazin, but with some restraint, technical precision, And hard hits, and was able to knock out nog in the first round, bumping cain up into my top 5. It was a great card and legendary for the fact being that it was the first time in australia.
My Overall Rating Of The Event: 8.0
Cain Velasquez VS Minotauro Nogueira
This fight really showed everyone how good cain is. I picked a second round tko for cain, but i guess i expected to less. Cain came out into the fight looking extremely explosive and quick. Minotauro said he knew he liked to press the action and that he had trained for that. I expected to see just punches from cain. just simple boxing and nothing special. Cain was throwing kick to the body to the legs to the head and punches everywhere else too! Cain was so fast compared to minotauro, that minotauro couldnt even keep up with cains pace, and ability to throw all over. Not more than a minute in the fight and your already thinking "cain is to relaxed to take it to the ground and landing to much on the stand-up" Cain was landing so many combos with devastating kicks and hard stiff jabs and straits. Minotauro had no time to land anything because cain would land perfect combos on him even before he could throw. Little over three minutes into the first round minotauro gets rocked right in the face leaning into one of cains huge overhand rights. Minotauro gets dropped and cain blasts him three or four more times. The fight is over in the first round and cain wins by knock out. Wow. It really shows cains ability to throw all over and do it succesfully to set up huge punches. It was truly an overall statement and dominance by cain velasquez. The unstoppable has been stopped.
George Sotiropoulos VS Joe Stevenson
This was truly a ground battle for the ages. This fight went everywhere on the ground! I thought joe daddy was gonna win this one with a choke, but i was wrong and it turned out to be a pretty damn insane ground battle. George was getting the takedowns early in the fight and doing minimal damage and joe daddy kept him in half guard the whole time. then the fight went into the second round and it started to turn into an all out insane scramble with the fight ending up in benifits for both fighter and just going everywhere. While the fight went on the stand-up occasionally, it was going to george who waslanding crisp jabs and straits. Joe daddy started looking for the takedowns and was having success but everytime he took george down, george pulled rubber guard and kept him there allowing joe daddy nowhere to go. The fight got into a crazy back and forth scenario in the third round, with george always ending up in the offensive position. George used an omo plata submission to sweep joe daddy, and it was just beautiful. In the end george got the decision andhe truly deserved it. Georges amazing top level jiu jitsu really paid off in this fight and it looked purly amazing. i cant wait to see who he fight next, because he poses a threat to anybody on the ground or stand-up.
Bad Blood Between Bisping And Silva
An upcoming fight for todays ufc 110 nogueira vs velasquez, wanderlei silva vs michael bisping takes the co-main event and im actually more excited to see this rather than the main event. Ive been watchingall the press confrences, all the interviews, and all the other news and such, and it seems wandy has alot to say about bisping. Wandy was saying that nobody like bisping and other things that were hilarious! At the press conference the topic went to wandy vs bisping. Bisping was interupting wandy and wandy said "shutup" man the crowd loved silva and they were laughing at the things between him and bisping. At the weigh-ins they took an extremely heavy stare-down while butting heads and dana had to push wandy back, it was great. For some reason i have a little ounce of respect for bispin, i dont know if its because hes a decent-good fighter or something else, but i really have tons of respect for wanderlei. i was watching his training and other things, like his video about helping haiti. I just feel event though wandy has a bigger mouth, that he deserves more respect. This fight should be on one of the better sides of the fights later tonight, and i have a feeling wandys gonna run into this fight shoot boxing style, and overwhelm bisping. With anything this happens i see wandy kicking the shit outta bisping.

UFC Undisputed 2010
Man ive been waiting to do this post. The whole reason i got into ufc was because of ufc undisputed 2009. I absoulutley love that game. Ive never really been a gamer but i love fighting so ufc undisputed 2009 took my heart. Now there coming out with ufc undisputed 2010 in may, and man am i exited. I already pre-ordered it and i research the shit outta it. The new features sound amazing. You will be able to duck, lean, and dodge punches, then counter. they have a new posture system, and punch targeting has been redone. Punch targeting and detection was one of 2 things i didnt like in the first on. the stand-up punch knockouts hardly ever looked good. The other thing i didnt like was the clinch... Which they started over from scratch. all this and so much more is being added to the new ufc and its gonna be sweet. The new screens showing paulo thiago and mike swick look pure amazing. theres gonna be 100 plus fighters all photo realistically done. Cant wait to see junior dos santos, kimbo, and paulo thiago in the game. You can even creat you own fighting style! you can choose wht punched you fighter does and what ground trasitions and submissions he does! And they've added sambo, karate, and creco roman wrestling, so you can use those also. This new ufc game will be coming out may 25 usa. may 28 everywhere else. yes england you have to wait an extra 3 days.
Upcoming Fight: Wanderlei Silva VS Michael Bisping
This is a fight coming up tomorrow along with velasquez vs nogueira. Its great to see wandy back and ive been hearing that if he doesnt win this then hes out? I dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. if he loses that probobly means hes not doin to good anymore, but on the other hand he is fighting michael bisping who is pretty technically skilled. I still have a feeling the wandy is gonna come up with a knockout though. If you watch bispinds last fight against denis kang you see that bispings doesnt have a good jaw. Bisping got tagged and dropped, And in between rounds his corner was telling him something about getting dropped and he said he dint even know he got hit. That tells me that bisping has somewhat of a glass jaw.(or henderson really fucked him up) Im sure wandy wont have a good jaw either after getting hit so many times and especialy recently after getting knocked out cold by rampage. Aside from the fact of there jaws this fight should be great. wandys shoot boxing against bispings counter striking... man that should be good. In my mind i still see bisping having to much to handle. Wandys gonna be to fast and always pressing the action. and that might be a problem for bisping. This fight will probobly stay on the stand-up, and someones probobly getting dropped. I see wandy coming out with a second round ko.

Its Official: Shogun VS Machida 2

Its now official. Mauricio "shogun" Rua will be having his rematch against ufc light heavyweight champion Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida for the belt. The first fight which occured at ufc 104 was an amazing fight. In the end machida won a unanimous deision which was bull. shogun deserved the win, but i dont know what the judges were looking at... damn cecil peoples. Anyways i thought machida was gonna knock shogun out fast, but shogun put up a fight, and in my mind won. I still feel that after this fight machida learned his mistakes and will come out with the win this time only it will be in rightfull fashion. When you here the name machida you know its gonna be a good fight. Machida has tooken out the whos who in mma(including bj penn!) and has pretty much beaten them all in devistating fashion. his fight over rashad was hilarious, and it really showed how much rashad sucks. so enough on machida and his 16-0 record and his skill. Now its time to talk about shogun. When i saw there first fight at ufc 104 it was the first time i ever saw shogun fight, and ha it was cool. shoguns style is so much different than everyone elses. It benifits him and hurts him in ways. Shogun like to keep his feet close together and his hands far apart, which leaves him open for takedowns. but he keep his front foot light so he can throw it when he wants. Shoguns also beaten the who who in mma, but mostley in pride and mostley by aoccer kicks. wherever this fight goes i think it should be intresting. if it stay on the stand-up i think shogun has a slight advantage, but if it goes to the ground, which it probobly wont unless machida in deep trouble, then its all machida. i still think machida could take the win on the stand-up too though. whatever happens its gonna be one hell of a fight.
Upcoming Fight: Nogueira VS Velasquez
Nogueira vs velasquez is to take place in two days from now. The more i watch countdown and the more i research this fight, it seems to get better in my eyes everytime. I cant express my hype for this fight but ill tell you now im rooting for velasquez and i think he has a slight advantage. I think if cain could take rothwell down 20 times each round and never break a sweat, then theres gonna be no way nogueira can stay up to speed with him. I dont really see cain coming out throwing and winging punches, i see him taking a quick aprehensive pace to this fight. If cain get hit he can always take noqueira down. Hes been working his submission defense extensivley so theres nothing else to fear besides nogueiras sweeps and subs, and cains a full posture kinda fighter so all i see are possible leg locks from nog, because cains puches will be to fast to catch. Not to say cain is gonna win by a milestone. this fight could go to decision, and that would only make the fight better knowing that both these guys put there all in it, cause man!, are these guys determined. nog can take a hit. we all know that, i jut think theres gonna be to many of thosse from everywhere. once nog is even stumbles, cain is gonna take him to the mat and pound on him. i wouldnt be mad if nog won, and i probobly wouldnt be suprised. i mean nog can pull out a sub from anywhere so its always possible.

Chael Sonnen Fails To Immpress
I was watching ufc 109 extremly excited to see #2 middleweight in ufc, nate marquart take on chael sonnen. I thought that nate was going to walk all over chael. I have never been a chael sonnen fan, and i dont think anyone else is, and ive never bee immpressed by any of his performances. Yet ive been extremly immpressed by nate marquart with his incredible stand-up and his knockout over demian maia. I get really pissed off with people like rashad and chael who relentlessly take people down keep them there and look for the unanomy. The fight started out with marquart throwing some sweet ass kicks, and chael takes him down. the whole rest of the fight it is chael on top of marquart. but the sad thing is that the person who was fucked up in the end was bloody chael sonnen who won the fight. The end of the fight is marquart on top of sonnen in mount pounding the fuck out of sonnen, and if he had mabey 10 more seconds the fight might have been his. The title of this could go both ways because im not going to bias here and say it was all marquart. they both looked bad in opposite positions, not to say that marquart sucked.(he seemed to get back up and land some shots every once in a while) but if marquart can almost stop sonnen then anderson can fuckin destroy him. Chael gets title shot at the winner of the silva vs belfort fight. Does chael really deserve this opportunity?

The Aftermath: UFC 109
I had a great time watching ufc 109 and was suprised on how good the fights were. i didnt expect much outta this card but man when it came time for it was i excited! randy couture always gets me pumped! i really wanted to see serra vs trigg and i was so fuckin happy when serra knocked the fuck outta that douchebag! the prelims were pretty good and i was suprised to see a gracie lose his debut. the only fight that really pissed me off was marquart vs sonnen. i realy wanted to see marquart beat the shit outta sonnen, but sonnen went rashad and took nate down and kept him there an did nothing. sonnen will fight the winner of anderson silva vs vitor belfort.(anderson) i swear anderson better beat the shit outta sonnen. what am i saying he will beat the shit outta him. demein maia improved his striking, which is still not good on some guy whos name i forget? well whoever he was he must have sucked because maia beat haim up on the stand-up. paulo thiago squared off against mike swick in an explosive fight which thiago won by rocking swick then sinking in a d'arce choke. overall the event was way better than i thought and it was sure amazing to see couture finish coleman! i cant wait to see couture serra and paulo in the octogan again, and when it comes time for sonnen vs silva boy will that be funny as hell!
My Overall Rating Of The Event: 6.5
Matt Serra VS Frank Trigg
I was ready to watch ufc 109 and serra vs trigg was the second fight i really wanted to see. Im a big matt serra fan and i had no dought he would win but man did he do it nicely. i though matt serra was gonna choke frank trigg out in the 3 round( knowing that frank trigg loves to wrestle) but that wasnt the case. matt serra came into the fight looking really good dipspite the short reach advantage. it looked like it might have been a sean sherk vs bj penn at first(but without trigg being on amazing strike like bj penn. mabey just matt serra swinging and not connecting. little did i know thats how most of his fights start out. the fight start and matt serra is quick to engage. matt start throwing big overhand rights and hooks. he lands a little right and trigg counters back. joe rogan says "looks like serra got tagged and is a little hesitant"... bullshit. serra goes strait back to pressing the action and his core boxing skills. trigg throws a strait and serra counters with a huge hook and blastes trigg right in the face! trigg goes on his ass and barley covers up as serra comes down with some huge rights. 3 of them and trigg is laying there knocked the fuck out! of course he tries to play off that he was out only problem was he was laying there on the ground stffened up not able to move. the knokout was tremendus for serra and moves him up on my rankings. great boxing and power shown by serra. truly great!
Randy Couture VS Mark Coleman
just got done watching randy couture fight mark coleman. It was purely amazing. Randy couture came in as the favorite and man was the crowd pumped and so was i. It starts of and couture starts hitting coleman with some really good looking jabs. Randy starts landing some immpresive uppercuts in the clinch and starts using his greco wrestling on coleman, but what he did unlike other fight was that he hit coleman and didnt stop. this fight was going to randy one way or another. every time coleman would get out of the clinch he would start to throw the jabs and with everyone one of them connecting they were paying off. he would throw rights in there stumbling mark a couple times alowing couture the clinch. soon it was time to enter the second round. couture comes into the fight with the same game plan while coleman seems to be wanting to strike with randy. Randy gets the clinch and starts hitting coleman with uppercuts, then to my amazmint couture takes the "godfather of ground and puond" down! he starts teeing off on coleman hitting him after and after! Then for his third time randy couture throws out a sumbmission attempt and submit coleman with a rear-naked choke!!! it was awesome. Couture seems to be moving up the ladder, and i cant wait to see who he gets to fight next.

Jon Jones, Thiago Silva, And Forrest Griffin.
These are 3 light heavyweights who all stand out, but i have to think where are these guys going. Jon jones is fighting brandon vera on ufc on versus 1, coming off his disqualifacation of matt hammil, which was fuckin retarted. I have a feeling jon jones is gonna own, but where does that put him after. Title shot? i dought title shot because lyoto and and shogun are scheduled for a rematch and i think the winner of the rashad rampage fight will get a shot at lyoto. Thigo silva is coming off his loss to rashad which takes him off the top cotenders list and there probably gonna give him a shit fight that he will easily win. Thiago will probably have to win a bunch of fight to get another title shot. Forrest griffin, coming off his win over tito ortiz it scheduled to fight Antônio Rogério Nogueira (little nog) Im sure this fight isnt going to happeen cause thats one hell of an opportunity for little nog and i dont think its fair he should get that good of a fight. Not to say that he cant win but that would be really tough. All 3 of these fighters have great potential. but what does the future hold for them? I cant wait to see jon jones fight brandon vera. i think hes gonna get the win by devistating fashion. i think griffin has the heart to get up to another title shot. And right now i dont know where thiago stand. Thiago vs Luiz Cane?

Randy Couture: A Living Legend
I hate the people of acusing randy couture of being to old to fight. Well i have something to say to you: Your probobly to fat to fight! Randy couture is 46 and is still kicking ass in the octagon. I cant wait to see hi beat down coleman at 109. He may have a glass chin after fighting so long but the man still goes! he beat brandon vera. The man defines ufc. He was one of the firts and in his 40s he can still beat the shit outta people, i mean look what he did to tim sylvia. He did good against brock too. I think randy has potential to go to the top... but not in light heavyweight. The roster is to packed. there just to many great fighters, i mean what would you think would happen puttung couture up against lyoto or rampage. Not to give couture a bad name, i just think he should go back to heavyweight, and rise to the top. I can see randy couture beating cheick kongo or other top heavyweights. He just has so much expierience. We all know randys gonna beat coleman and i thinks its good to start off easy. The only thing they have to credit to coleman is his win over washed up stephan bonnar, whos doin prelims nowadays. I just see couture fighting better at heavyweight. But no matter what randy couture is gonna put up a fight in any weight division. He is the ufc, he is a living legend.

Its Official: Anderson Silva VS Vitor Belfort
It is official! Anderson the spider silva is fighting vitor belfort. Ha we here this and automaticly think: Anderson gonna win, but for once im gona say this guys gonna give anderson a challenge. Vitors striking is extremly fast and he can hit! usualy i say a someones gonna definetly win but i think anderson silva might have a hard time. But then again anderson beat rich franklin twice and is coming off a first round knockout. So im definetly saying andersons gonna win, it just might be hard. Vitor is coming off his win over rich franklin witch was a nice win.(It seems that brazilians are taking over) I still see anderson dropping belfort every time in my mind. I mean anderson has defeated everyone! He got tired of the middle weight division so he moved up to light heavyweight and is schooling people there! Now hes back down to middleweight to defend his championship against vitor. If anderson wins that puts him in a position of probobly moving back up to light heavyweight and either getting a title shot or getting to fight for the title shot. He already said he wont fight machida but i feel that shoguns gonna win the rematch(rematch scheduled for ufc 113) Im extremly excited to see this fight and i cant wait to see my favorite fighter to own again!
Rampage Jackson: Set To Fight Rashad Evans
We all have been waiting for the rashad vs rampage fight ever since rampage beat keith jardine. rampage is a beast... period. He beat the shit outta chuck liddell... TWICE. He knocked the shit outta wanderlei silva. Okay so both were on the show coaching. It was a great season and rampage was funny as fuck and rashad was a bitch. They were set to fight at ufc 107, but rampage got a acting eal for the movie: the a-team. Then they were set to fight at ufc 113. And no finally...hopefully, its set for ufc 114 as the main card. Now rashad just came off his win over thiago silva and haha he looked like a piece of shit. Now dont get me wrong, rashads wrestling was amazing, but thiago beat the shit outta him in the third round and almost got the win. I cant wait to see rampage floor rashad, cause i hate rashad evans. I dought it will even go down at 114, but if it does. Rampage is gonna fuckin wreck rashad, because rampage can take a hit unlike rashad who gets wobbled by jabs, and he has wrestling. Rampage isnt gonna let rashad take him down hes gonna throw him up against the cage and beat the fuck outta him. Im always rootin for my boy rampage and ide like to hear what you guys have to say about the fight?

Matt Serra: Upcoming Fight VS Frank Trigg
At ufc 109 matt serra will be fighting frank trigg. My thoughts on this is: matt is gonna school trigg. Matt serra is one of 2 people to beat welterweight champ st pierre. He also has a notable performane over matt hughes. I feel that even though serra is on a two fight losing streak, which were over the BEST welterweights in the world, that he should get something a little better? Frank trigg is coming off his loss to josh koscheck, and i absoulutley hate frank trigg. Frank trigg= douche. Frank trigg kicked hughes in the nuts and the ref didnt see it, but that didnt stop trigg for capitalizing on the situation. Which the fight ended up going to matt hughes with a rear naked choke in one of the best fights ever. Ive tooken a liking to matt serra, watching all his fights nd watching his vlogs. Serra is gonna wreck frank trigg, and im intrested to see who he gets to fight after trigg? If anybodys reain dis shit then tell meh? who do you think will win? serra or trigg?

Anderson Silva VS Forrest Griffin
Its pretty late right now its 11:30 pm and i felt since i just started in january that i should post a little bit more. So im here on the topic of anderson silvas latest fight, which was against formor light heavyweight champion and ultimate fighter 1 winner, forrest griffin. Before this fight i didnt know alot about anderson(i wasnt much of a middleweight fighter fan)but i knew he was good, having wins over james irvin, chris leben, and two wins over rich franklin. But oh hell... i didnt know he was that good. I (which at the time knew more about griffin) thought griffin was gonna win. Its about a minute or two into the fight when griffin gets hit. he goes down and anderson aproaches him hesitently (which he does in most fights cause he likes to stike) and lets griffin up. Everyone gets tagged once in a while, i thought. But it doesnt end... forrest who obviously didnt know he was hurt as bad as he was, continues pressing forward. Forrest looks to throw a 4 punch combo. ha... it was awsome... every single punch forrest threw anderson weaved, ducked, and dodged out of, hitting forrest with another punch dropping him to the mat once again. Anderson lets forrest up again. Forrest still fighting throws a one two jab strait on anderson, but anderson leans outta both and jabs forrest to win the fight by knockout. I was in litteral awe when i saw it. My jaw was on the floor, i was just mesmerized on the stand up skills of anderson silva. It truly was one of the greatest moments of ufc history.
Brock Is Back
3 days ago it was announced that brock lesnar is returning from his sickness to fight again! He was supposed to fight shane carwin as the main event at ufc 106 but brock pulled out and was later diagnosed with diverticulitis. Brock lesnar, who is another one of my favorite fighters, looked beastly in his last 3 fights. He dominated heath herring. Got a tko over ufc hall of fame legend randy couture. And avenged his loss over frank mir with a awsome performance and tko in the second round. After seeing his latest win over mir he looked like a bj penn or st pierre to me. someone who "now" cant be stopped. He overcame his losses just like bj penn and st pierre and looks unstoppable. Its at points when you see those fights like: st pierre vs alves, penn vs sanchez, and lesnar mir 2, that your thinking who do they fight next? Nothing came to mind for lesnar and im sure its going to be exiting to see him back in the ufc and its great to hear that hes back to 100 percent health, so he can continue dominating the heavyweight roster. The winner of shane carwin vs frank mir will get a shot at the title. Do you feel after frank mirs immpressive win over cheick kongo, that he has the skills and determanation to regain his title?
Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos
Okay im here to talk about one of my favorite fighters: Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos. Ive been a fan of his ever since he defeated cro cop. Before he had 2 wins over ufc fighters and when i saw the highlights i was really impressed. He just got done with a second round tko over pride fighter gilbert yvel. And oh shit that was fast, haha.I was watching 108 with my friends and after the beat down over cro cop i feel santos deserved co-main event but instead was the first fight. (bullshit i know) So santos lands a good combo on yvel and yvel counters back. Yvel throws a big head kick that santos blocks but still looks bad. And santos smiles. seconds later santos comes up with ths huge left hook and drops yvel right on his ass. he just swarms all over yvel with punches from everywhere. it was awsome. Then i come to find out that not even a couple months after hes going to be fighting gabriel gonzaga on ufc versus 1. I cant wait to see the fight and i have a feeling that santos is gonna OWN gonzaga. If anyones reading this then tell me who do you think will win?

Kimbo Vs Houston
At the tuf finale 10 Kimbo slice fought Houston alexander. I was already a kimbo fan, having seen his street fights, his impressive win over tank abbott in elite xc, and his overall humbleness and drive to be a fighter on tuf 10. I felt Kimbo didn't deserve the loss over roy nelson on the show, and i was really excited to hear he was getting another chance to prove himself against a experienced houston alexander who had notable wins over Keith Jardine, and Allesio Sakara. Kimbo looked strong goin into the fight and aggressed a very boring first round of houston circling around kimbo like a bitch. The bell for the second round sounds and kimbo starts doing the same thing of chasing houston around. Not seconds after mike goldberg says "what does kimbo do here, does he try an hit him?" Kimbo hits him with a huge jab that throws houston to the back of the cage. kimbo ties up with alexander and takes him down right into full mount! he hits houston a couple times a houston is back up. kimbo ends up clinching with him. kimbo is behind alexander up against the cage nd all of a sudden picks up houston with little ease and slams houston fight on his neck! one of the most devistating slams ive ever seen. the fight goes all the way and kimbo picks up the win with unanimous decision.

BJ Penn

BJ Penns lst fight was with diego sanchez and it really showcased bjs skills. Diego went out into the first round thinking he was the aggresser and that the fight was his. Diego throws a strait right and bj moves out of it and catches diego leaning in with the punch Diego gets FLOORED and bj swarms over him. diego had huge hart and got back up while getting hit with an arrsenal of punches. the rest of the fight was all bj penn just showing the world his improved boxing. and his already known takedown defense. it relly puts your mind at this wonering of who can take this guy out? we already know that st pierre twice. but you have to think hes gonna stay at lightweight for a little. so tell me if theres anyone out there reading this. whos the next person whos gonna be a challenge for bj penn? (hes scheduled to fight frankie edgar for his next fight)
