That stars name is Cain Velasquez. At what point do you classify Cain Velasquez as a star? When he knocks out a legend four minutes into the first round. You often here people say "Nogueira doesn't lose, he just doesn't have enough time to finish" Well ill tell you this. Everyone was proven wrong last night at ufc 110. Rising heavyweight Cain Velasquez fought legend of the sport Antonio Minotauro Nogueira. Aside from the fact Cain knocked him out, Cain really proved that he is the top fighter and hes ready for war. All you have to do is type in ufc and tons of things on Cain Suddenly come up. Theres alot of buzz going around about Cain, And you have to think to yourself: What about Brock? Not even two weeks earlier brock was the main spotlight. "The man" But now it looks like the attention has shifted to Velasquez. After watching the fight last night you kinda think that if anyone is to beat brock its this guy. Brock is a warrior dont get me wrong. but i think with all the time off hes fading away to everybody. If Brock would have just beat someone last night im sure he would be the sensation the next moring, but hes been off for to long. Its about time some new heavyweight contension stepped up. Cain has so much technical skill its unbelievable how he combines that with his speed and stamina. He truly is the perfect fighter. The title shot goes up for grabs at ufc 116, brock lesnars return. Dana white made a statement saying that the tite shot could go to the Velasquez Nogueira fight. I think after Cains win in thaty devastating fashion he deserves it. But, for now we wait for Carwin VS Mir. With all of this hype around Velasquez is Brock truly forgotten?
